Digital Product Design for the AI Era Part Time Master

During the course you will be engaged in hands-on project work with a brief presented by Sketchin. You will work on the design of a digital product and present your prototype to a panel of experts

An introductory module designed to develop a critical reading of the opportunities generated by artificial intelligence in contemporary digital products. It will explore how AI systems work, what their limitations are, and in what contexts they can create real value, moving beyond a purely instrumental or generic view of the technology. The goal is to help participants distinguish truly relevant applications from superficial ones by learning to observe users, tasks, inefficiencies and recurring patterns within a specific domain.

A module dedicated to defining the problem and building the first design perimeter of the product. Starting with the opportunities identified in the mapping phase, participants will work on problem framing to understand what to design, for whom, with what value, and what role to attribute to artificial intelligence. The focus will not simply be "adding AI" to an existing product, but rethinking the product from a problem that can be addressed in a new way by systems capable of learning, suggesting, automating or making decisions within a defined perimeter.

A module devoted to the design of interaction in AI-native products, where the experience no longer consists only of predefined screens, flows and states, but also of dynamic behaviors, variable responses and decisions made by the system. It will explore how the role of design changes when the product does not just execute commands, but interprets input, proposes output, handles ambiguities, and interacts with the user adaptively.
