HR & Payroll Specialist Master

During the Master's program, you will work on concrete cases, operational exercises and simulations related to the Payroll world: from payroll processing to compliance management and the use of software and digital tools.

In this module you will build the operational, regulatory and digital foundations needed to work in contemporary HR processes. You will start with an overview of the evolution of HR Tech and the Jet HR model, and then delve into the main elements of People Operations, applied employment law, and data privacy. Through hands-on labs, you will begin using digital tools such as Google Workspace, Excel, Notion, and Jet HR to organize processes, manage hiring flows, and understand onboarding-related compliance.

In this module you will get into the technical heart of personnel administration: the pay slip. You will learn to read and understand the structure of the pay slip, analyzing social security and taxable income, INPS and INAIL contributions, and IRPEF taxation. Through manual exercises and workshops on Jet HR, you will acquire the logic behind payroll calculation, down to the management of variables, overtime, bonuses, fringe benefits and welfare. You will also delve into business cost analysis and personnel budgeting using Excel and Google Sheets.

In this module you will delve into the management of the main exceptions that may arise during the employment relationship. You will learn how to manage attendance, absence, sickness, injury, maternity, expectations and leave, developing an operational view of the most frequent cases in administrative personnel management. You will also address severance pay, supplementary pensions and offboarding, understanding the requirements associated with termination of employment, from notice to telematic resignation.
